Ariel André is the founder of GOLEM, an architecture, design, and research studio based in Paris, established in 2021. His work is defined by the way it connects context, client, and materials to build contemporary and coherent projects, always attentive to the experience of those who inhabit them. GOLEM has developed projects across different creative fields: family homes, restaurants, clubs, galleries, concept stores, websites, scenography, furniture, structural renovations, and lighting design, among others. This range is supported by a clear aesthetic vision shared by the team and its founder, whose practice is informed by a cross-cultural education: André began his design studies in Paris and continued them in Kyoto, shaping a sensitivity grounded in the encounter between cultures and visual languages.
Ariel André es el fundador de GOLEM, un estudio de arquitectura, diseño e investigación con sede en París, establecido en 2021. Su trabajo se caracteriza por la conexión entre contexto, cliente y materiales para construir proyectos contemporáneos y coherentes, siempre atentos a la experiencia final de quienes los habitan. GOLEM ha desarrollado proyectos en distintos medios creativos: casas familiares, restaurantes, clubes, galerías, concept stores, páginas web, escenografías, mobiliario, renovaciones estructurales y proyectos de iluminación, entre otros. Esa amplitud responde a una visión estética clara por parte del equipo y de su fundador, quien ha nutrido su práctica de una formación cruzada: comenzó sus estudios de diseño en París y los continuó en Kioto, consolidando una sensibilidad marcada por el cruce de culturas y referentes visuales.
Before founding GOLEM, André worked in international studios and served as Project Director at OMA —the renowned architecture firm led by Rem Koolhaas— in Rotterdam. There, he strengthened his interest in integrating popular cultures and creating environments where people can connect, an approach that has become one of the studio’s core foundations.
Antes de fundar GOLEM, André trabajó en estudios internacionales y fue Project Director en OMA —el estudio del reconocido arquitecto Rem Koolhaas— en Róterdam. Allí fortaleció su interés en integrar lenguajes populares y crear ambientes donde las personas se puedan relacionar, un enfoque que hoy es uno de los fundamentos del estudio.
GOLEM’s projects span cities such as London, Paris, New York, and Cameroon, and include collaborations with brands like Chloé and Louis Vuitton, as well as participation and recognition in Paris Design Week, Collectible Design Fair, the Diriyah Biennale, and an upcoming presence at the European Cultural Center for the 2026 Venice Biennale. With each commission, GOLEM reinforces a way of working that brings together research, attention to detail, and an open perspective on how we inhabit spaces. At its core, it is a studio that pushes the boundaries of design and finds new ways to activate creativity within every project.
Los proyectos de GOLEM abarcan ciudades como Londres, París, Nueva York y Camerún, e incluyen colaboraciones con marcas como Chloé y Louis Vuitton, así como participaciones y reconocimientos en Paris Design Week, Collectible Design Fair, la Diriyah Biennale y su presencia confirmada en el European Cultural Center para la Bienal de Venecia 2026. Con cada encargo, GOLEM reafirma una forma de trabajar que conecta investigación, detalle y una visión abierta sobre cómo habitamos los espacios. En esencia, es un estudio que expande los límites del diseño y encuentra nuevas maneras de activar la creatividad dentro de cada proyecto.
